LIVING WELL WITH

CHRONIC ILLNESS

“Living Well with Chronic Illness” is a short, reader-friendly, self-help book written for anyone who has recently received a diagnosis of a chronic illness or is already struggling with one.  This handbook is based on my personal experience as a patient and twenty-six years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

In our hectic, information-laden world the Internet places billions of facts at our fingertips. Many sick people don’t want to dig deep and research. They need information in a quickly accessible, organized, and digestible structure, and they want to be able to start applying the information immediately. My book could offer these possibilities to readers in twenty concise chapters: Emotional Issues (Chapters 1-4), Practical Challenges (Chapters 5-12), Financial and Legal Matters (Chapters 15-17), and Spiritual Considerations (Chapters 18-20).
